Chartwell Park Updates

We had a special guest from the parks department at our annual meeting this past weekend. One of the discussed topics was the $600,000 grant the city received to update Chartwell Park. Part of the planned improvements will be updates to the north end part of the walking path, adding a walking loop, shelter and remaking the playground to make it more ADA accessible. The public will get to vote on 3 playground designs once the are designed later this year. If all goes according to plan ground breaking of the improvements should begin in the spring/summer of 2027. We will post any updates as soon as we are made aware of them.

We are looking forward to these improvements to our neighborhood!
